|
Hello,
I am Megan Dittrich. I will graduate Decatur High in 2010 and plan on extending my education in college. My goal is to play softball while attaining my degree in Nursing. I have chosen to become an R.N. because I love helping those in need and working with others. I also posess a strong desire to play colligate softball. I am continuing to develop and improve my skills through practice and tournament play.
I was introduced to softball at age 7, and I have been hitting the dirt ever since. I have really been able to play competive softball since moving to Decatur,TX my freshmen year. My main contribution for my highschool team will be pitching. I pitched all district games my sophomore year while compiling a 16-10 record and leading our team to the playoffs. I also earned All-District Honors. As a junior, I split time between pitching and playing 2nd base. I had a 10-4 record from the mound and went 3-2 in district. I ended the season with a .484 batting average and was selected All-District again. I was also selected All-Wise County for the 2nd straight year.
I will be playing select ball this fall for TEXAS GLORY GOLD (COMBS). I will be playing middle infield and pitching for Coach Ken Combs. I feel that infield will be my place in college due to my strong bat. But I will still be working hard on my pitching throughout the year.

I have been elected class officer this year and will be involved in fundraising, community service, and prom. I am also an active member in the First Baptist Church of Decatur.

I AM FOCUSING MORE AS A MIDDLE INFIELDER AND USING PITCHING AS A SECONDARY POSITION AT THE COLLIGATE LEVEL.
I AM PLANNING ON RESHOOTING MY VIDEO SOON!! THIS WAS SHOT OVER A YEAR AGO AND I HAVE IMPROVED GREATLY!! |
